New Anker Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount appears
The Anker Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount is now available in China. This accessory is designed to allow you to easily view your phone screen for navigation or other relevant apps. As shown in the marketing images (below), it can be positioned in several ways.
Anker’s new Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount is a basic accessory. At one end is a magnetic pad, holding a compatible smartphone in place by a 22N magnetic force. Plus, you can adjust the viewing angle as needed thanks to its rotating base. The other end of the accessory can be fixed in place with 3M adhesive, and the body is made from a flexible material so it can be bent to adjust the height or angle.
It is worth noting that, unlike the older Anker 613 Magnetic Wireless Charger (MagGo), this new accessory does not offer wireless charging. However, the mount's design means you could easily plug in your phone to charge from a USB port in the car. The Anker Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount has model number A9110 and measures 207 x 59.7 x 41.6 mm (~8.1 x 2.4 x 1.6 inches).
Anker is selling the Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount in China for CNY 139 (~$19). Whether or when this accessory could launch in other markets like the US is unclear. In the meantime, you could consider the Anker MagGo Wireless Car Charger (Pad, Built-in USB-C Cable), which is currently available for $59.99 at Amazon.
