OnePlus launches new 27 W magnetic mobile cooler

While the new compact flagship, the OnePlus 13T, is the main highlight of the company's last launch event, the brand has also introduced a couple of accessories. Among them is the Ice Point Magnetic Cooling Clip. Priced at CNY 199, about $27, this 27 W mobile cooler is said to be thinner and have an improved design than the predecessor.

To be specific, the new mobile cooler is 40% smaller than the last-gen OnePlus mobile cooler. It's lightweight as well, coming in at 83 grams. As for the thickness, it's said to be around 23.5 mm, which should enable a flush installation. Speaking of which, given that it features a magnetic design, OnePlus claims that attaching and detaching it from smartphones will be a breeze.

The company further highlights that the 27 W OnePlus mobile cooler offers three primary stages of cooling with a TEC plate. This multi-stage cooling setup is also said to be capable of keeping the phone from throttling, eventually ensuring a stable performance under heavy loads.

Another design highlight of the Ice Point Magnetic Cooling Clip is the dual-color lighting, which gives it a bit more gamer aesthetics. Among the other highlights of this new OnePlus phone cooler is compatibility with Oppo Mag standards, which should also make it work with MagSafe-compatible iPhone models.

There's no word on the global launch yet, but OnePlus is expected to release the 13T in the international market soon. It's possible that the new magnetic cooler and the SuperVOOC 150 W power bank will make it outside China alongside the company's brand-new compact Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship.
