The OnePlus 13T has been confirmed to be getting a launch in India soon, albeit as the OnePlus 13s. However, while an earlier report mentioned the phone will be making its way to Europe and North America, unfortunately, that won't be the case.
According to The Verge, two OnePlus executives have confirmed to them that the OnePlus 13s won't be launching in Europe and North America. The first statement was sent by Celina Shi, the chief marketing officer of OnePlus Europe. In the email, she is quoted to have said “currently, we have no plans to launch the OnePlus 13s in Europe”.
A similar statement from Spencer Blank, the head of marketing for OnePlus North America, was also sent to The Verge, but it specifically mentioned Canada and the United States. Celina Shi's statement to the publication did note the interest in the device from European users and said the company will “keep it in mind” for future product launch decisions.
While the limited launch of the OnePlus 13s is quite disappointing, interested buyers should be able to import it from third-party resellers. However, they will have to be sure it is compatible with their networks, so as not to end up with an unusable device.
The OnePlus 13s doesn't have a launch date yet as it is still listed as coming soon on the OnePlus India website.
