OnePlus launches new SuperVOOC power bank with 150 W fast charging support

The OnePlus 13T is now official in China. Alongside this compact flagship phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the company has launched a new fast charging power bank, the OnePlus SuperVOOC 150 W. It features a built-in cable and has one USB-C and one USB-A port, allowing the portable charger to power up three devices at once.

All three ports max out at 100 W, and OnePlus claims that the new SuperVOOC power bank can get the 2021 MacBook Pro from 0% to 54% in around 30 minutes. When multiple devices are connected to the portable charger, the combined output will be 150 W.

OnePlus claims that the SuperVOOC 150 W power bank can self-recharge quickly as well. With a fast charging brick, it's said to recharge from 0% to 100% in around 2 hours (Aohi 140 W GaN charger curr. $49.99 on Amazon). Speaking of which, the internal battery capacity is 20,000 mAh, which makes the portable charger capable of fully charging the OnePlus 13T around 2.36 times.

There's a built-in display, but it's not as versatile as the displays found in some of the other high-capacity power banks. It can only show the internal battery capacity. The SuperVOOC 150 W also supports multiple charging protocols, including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, and PPS. This wide support makes it compatible with pretty much all devices.

Other highlights of the OnePlus SuperVOOC 150 W power bank include multiple safety features, flight-safe certification, and an integrated slot for the attached foldable Type-C cable. The launch price in China is CNY 349, about $48, and while the company hasn't shared global launch details yet, it's expected to make an international debut soon.
