OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 13T on April 24 in China, but it won't be the only new product it will unveil. It has already revealed it will launch a new power bank with a 20,000mAh battery. Now it has added that it will also announce a new cooling fan which should launch as the OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Phone Cooler.
The OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooler is a follow-up to the OnePlus 18W Freezing Point Phone Cooler that was released in 2021. The cooler uses a combination of thermoelectric (TEC) cooling and a cooling fan to lower the temperature of a phone. It also has integrated magnets so it can work with devices with MagSafe or a magnetic case.
The new cooler has a round design unlike its 18W predecessor that has an oval-like shape. It has a grey finish with a black fan and a red OnePlus logo. There's a USB-C port at the bottom, and from the name, it should require a 27W or higher power adapter to work. The image doesn't show if it has a switch to adjust the speed of the cooling fan as is available on the 18W version.
The OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooler will first be announced in China but may get a global release later. It should be compatible with the OnePlus 13T, the OnePlus 13, the OnePlus 13R, and the OnePlus 12 (curr. available on Amazon for $749.99) as well as a bunch of other OnePlus and Oppo products.
