Orico launches new 8-in-1 25 W GaN power strip with 5 ft extension cable

Orico, a charging solutions maker, has launched a new 8-in-1 25 W GaN power strip in global markets. Orico’s new charging accessory is designed to keep your workspace clutter-free. It features a compact yet lightweight design, like the recently launched Anker USB Power Strip (12-in-1 20 W). On top of that, the power strip features a 0.43-inch ultra-thin flat plug with a 45° right angle design, and according to the company, this makes it ideal for tight spaces behind furniture such as beds, desks, TV cabinets, and sofas. 

Speaking of dimensions, it measures 3.82 x 3.07 x 1.26 inches (97 x 77.9 x 32 mm) and weighs around 8.8 ounces (249 grams). The Orico Power Strip features a total of 8 outputs, including 4 AC, 2 USB-C, and 2 USB-A. That means users can charge up to 8 devices simultaneously. As far as the USB ports' output is concerned, the USB-C ports provide up to 25 W of power, while the USB-A ports are capped at 22.5 W. 

Furthermore, the power strip is FCC certified and UL tested, offering protection against short circuits, overheating, over-voltage, and over-current. Plus, it comes with a fire-resistant shell and offers a fixed 5 ft (60-inch, 1.5 m) extension cable. However, it lacks a built-in power switch found on the Anker’s 12-in-1 tower (curr. $23.99 on Amazon) power strip.
