At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Ecovacs is presenting its new brand message: “ECOVACS, Created for Ease” – a vision focused on simplifying everyday life through service robotics. The message aligns with the company’s long-term mission, “Robotics for All,” which aims to bring robots into as many households as possible to take over routine tasks. Rather than introducing a humanoid helper, however, the household robotics specialist is taking an unexpected step forward with a robotic pet called LilMilo.
Ecovacs is not positioning LilMilo as a toy or a novelty. In its press release, the company clearly frames the small white robot dog within the concept of embodied intelligence – a form of digital presence grounded in physical interaction. LilMilo is not designed to perform tasks, but to offer something different: a sense of closeness, warmth, and companionship in everyday life.
LilMilo’s soft plush fur conceals a network of touch sensors, allowing it to respond to contact across its entire body. Microphones pick up voice cues, while a camera mounted in its nose detects movement and interaction. Its LCD eyes do more than express emotions – they also track lines of sight, adding a lifelike layer to its responses.
Movable parts such as the head, neck, and tail allow LilMilo to mimic typical canine behavior, including tail wagging. Built-in speakers enable it to bark, while active heat emission adds a sense of physical presence, making interactions feel more natural. The robot charges via USB-C or wirelessly on a dock shaped like a dog bed. Ecovacs LilMilo is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2026, though exact dates, regions, and pricing have yet to be announced.
