Following the official announcement last week, today marks the official launch date of the Soundcore Liberty 5. Anker's new in-ear headphones are now officially available and can be purchased directly from Anker, Amazon and other retailers for a suggested retail price of $129.
In order to celebrate the debut of the new Liberty 5 earbuds, Anker is running a special promotion. Early adopters can get a free travel case with magnetic closure, which usually costs $19. It’s made from PU leather and can be attached to bags or similar. Anker’s new earbuds are available in four colors, namely Cloud White, Ink Black, Abyss Blue, and Rose Apricot.
The Soundcore Liberty 5 are the successor to the popular Liberty 4 and Liberty 4 NC and come with a range of improvements. Specifically, they offer ANC 3.0 technology, which analyzes ambient noise every 0.3 seconds and adjusts the earbuds' active noise cancellation accordingly. Compared to the Liberty 4 NC, the manufacturer promises that the earbuds are now twice as effective when filtering human voices thanks to a special acoustic chamber.
Other features of the Soundcore Liberty 5 in-ear headphones include Dolby Audio-certified sound with LDAC and hi-res audio, as well as six microphones for AI noise cancellation and wind noise reduction during phone calls. Their battery life is 12 hours per charge, or 8 hours with ANC turned on. This can be extended to up to 48 hours (or 32 hours with ANC) via the included charging case.
