The Anker Soundcore AeroClip are now on Amazon US. These wireless earbuds sport relatively large drivers and in a rather unusual design, but their open design means they don't feature active noise cancellation (ANC).
The Soundcore AeroClip are new headphones from Anker that have recently become available on Amazon US for $129. Unfortunately, these earbuds are not officially sold in many European countries, in which case shoppers can import them via a Chinese marketplace such as Banggood. There might be some additional import duties or taxes, and warranty claims might cause difficulties.
That said, the Soundcore AeroClip are open-ear headphones that aren’t simply inserted into the ear canal but rather wrapped around the outer ear. They are equipped with a total of four microphones which are supposed to reduce distracting background noise during phone calls. These Anker earbuds come with 12mm drivers but don’t support active noise cancellation.
Battery life is officially specified as 8 hours, which can be extended by another 24 hours with the included charging case. Anker further advertises an IPX4 certification, which means that the headphones are resistant to water and sweat. Notable alternatives with a similar form factor include the PearlClip Pro, which are also much cheaper at just $39 on Amazon.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
