Beelink AI Mini: New compact server revealed globally with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and dual 10 Gbps Ethernet

The Beelink AI Mini is a rather unusual device by all accounts. On the face of it, the device could rival the N5 and N5 Pro from Minisforum, which Beelink's rival unveiled globally at the end of last month. However, the AI Mini features a substantially more powerful processor than Minisforum's recent efforts.

To recap, Minisforum recently confirmed that the N5 and N5 Pro would be sold with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU that Beelink already uses inside mini-PCs like the SER9 Pro (curr. $949 on Amazon). Conversely, Beelink has opted for the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 for the AI Mini, which will doubtless push up the machine's cost compared to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. Regardless, the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 will give the AI some serious gaming performance; in our tests its Radeon RX 8060S iGPU rivals Nvidia's laptop version of the GeForce RTX 4070.

Additionally, the AI Mini will ship with dual USB4 ports that provide 40 Gbps transfer speeds each. A USB Type-C port is also visible on the device's front panel. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether this front-facing port meets the USB4 standard, though. The AI Mini boasts dual 10 Gbps Ethernet ports that can be used to link multiple units together, too. Again, Beelink has not shared full details about this feature yet. The Beelink AI Mini will be launching later this year globally starting at $1,999 with up to 128 GB of RAM.
