Beelink has been selling SER9 mini-PCs for a while now, having made them available to purchase back in September. Initially, the company equipped the SER9 series with AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (curr. $999 on Amazon), which can now be found in gaming handhelds like the Ayaneo 3.
Now, Beelink has refreshed the SER9 series with a cheaper Ryzen AI 9 365 variant, which sits within a 135 x 135 x 44.7 mm and 780 g housing. The Ryzen AI 9 365 is one of AMD's more powerful Strix Point APUs, although it has 25% fewer Zen 5c CPU cores and four fewer threads than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 at a performance cost of almost 20%. A similar performance gap exists between the pair's iGPUs despite a 25% unified shader differential.
Meanwhile, the new SER9 Pro contains a pair of M.2 2280 slots that support PCIe 4.0 SSDs and 32 GB of quad-channel LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8,000 MT/s. Beelink includes relatively modern ports too, such as DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and USB4 for outputting to an external monitor at up to 4K and 240 Hz. The new SER9 Pro can be ordered from Beelink for $949, which represents a $250 saving on its alleged $1,199 MSRP.
