There are a lot of devices to choose from in the mini PC segment as the selection of compact systems continues to grow. Case in point, Acemagic has just introduced a new computer named the FA3, which comes equipped with an AMD APU. Specifically, the model is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which is a powerful processor with 12 cores and 24 threads.
A graphics card and NPU are integrated into this chipset. The NPU is designed to accelerate AI applications and is rated at up to 50 TOPS. The CPU and GPU can also be used for AI workloads — although the pairing is less efficient in that regard, it can reach up to 80 TOPS.
The Chinese manufacturer further advertises efficient cooling of its new mini PC. More precisely, heat pipes and two fans are found inside the Acemagic F3A. Both the processor and SSD are actively cooled, which is supposed to prevent thermal throttling.
The mini PC supports up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM with clock speeds of up to 5,600 MHz. As usual, it is also equipped with an M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSD. In terms of connectivity, the F3A mini PC offers HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C, and DisplayPort 2.0, all of which can be used for video output. Needless to say, the USB Type-C port can also be used to transfer data. Two Ethernet ports with 2.5 Gbit/s are also available.
RGB lighting is included as well, but Acemagic has not disclosed an official launch date or price tag just yet. That being said, we expect that the brand will grant early-bird discounts once preorders for its latest device go live.
