Aoostar GEM12+ Pro: Mini-PC launched with OCuLink, fingerprint sensor and built-in display

The Aoostar GEM12+ Pro is currently available on Amazon as a barebones kit or a complete system with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Prices start at $399.95 for the barebones unit, whilst adding memory and storage raises the price to $499.

The Plus version of the Aoostar GEM12+ Pro comes with a built-in display and a fingerprint sensor on the top. The screen can display useful information, such as system usage, whereas the fingerprint sensor allows users to unlock the computer without having to enter a password. Measuring 130 x 130 x 60 mm (~5.1 x 5.1 x 2.4 in), the tiny PC features an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 8845HS, making it powerful enough to handle a wide variety of applications, including more demanding workloads. The Ryzen processor already comes with a Radeon 780M integrated GPU, but users can also connect an external graphics card via the OCuLink interface.

The Aoostar GEM12+ Pro boasts a wide range of I/O options, including two USB 3.2, two USB 2.0, and two USB4 ports. Additionally, it offers an HDMI 2.1 interface and a DisplayPort for video output. For network connectivity, the system supports Wi-Fi 6 and has dual Ethernet ports with speeds of up to 2.5 Gbit/s.
