The Honor 400 and 400 Pro are currently thought to emulate the Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro from an improved price-point, as the former is thought to have a relatively small 6.55-inch display compared to 6.72 inches in the latter.
Now, the renowned leaker Digital Chat Station hints that they might also be like the higher-end Magic7 Pro with a 200MP image sensor apiece - except that the extra-high-resolution spec will comprise the main rear camera in the mid-rangers, rather than the telephoto lens as in the Honor flagship smartphone.
The 400 series could still have a high-end zoom camera, although it might be 50MP instead and exclusive to the Pro variant.
It is thought to join other premium features such as a metal mid-frame and an up-to-date ~7,000mAh battery in the 400 Pro.
That might be just as well, as the device is also believed to stick with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 silicon as its 300 Pro forebear.
