Honor is getting ready to launch a cheaper alternative to the new OnePlus 13T in China, according to the latest rumors. The compact mid-range Android smartphone has allegedly passed 5G testing in its native country. It might have done so alongside its larger Pro sibling, which might also be released soon.

Honor is rumored to unleash what could be described as a OnePlus 13T killer in 2025, as the smartphone is thought to be of about the same atypically small size, yet have a disproportionately large battery

It is currently thought to have a ~6.55-inch display, which would actually make it a little larger than the 13T - but might still be smaller than the ~6.69-inch 400 Pro.

Both smartphones are thought to have OLED screens, although that of the higher-end Pro is said to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor while the vanilla 400 goes with the more mid-tier 7 Gen 4.

Accordingly, it could be more affordable than both its Pro sibling and OnePlus rival in its native China. It might also be closer to becoming available than previously thought.

Reports of a new device called the Honor DNN-AN00 having been approved to use 5G by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China invites speculation that it is in fact the 400.

It has apparently been certified alongside the DNP-AN00, which may or may not be the 400 Pro also gearing up for an imminent launch.
