Honor introduced its latest midrange 400 Lite smartphone on 3rd April in limited markets. Now, Honor has announced that its latest midrange smartphone has reached the UK and Europe. A direct successor to the Honor 200 Lite has seen major changes in the overall design. The triple camera setup at the rear now has a triangular camera module, while the front has a flat frame design with a pill-shaped punch hole.
The phone packs a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display that outputs at a resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. It comes with an SGS five rating and can survive drops from heights of up to 6 ft. Plus, there’s an IP65 rating, protecting the device against water splashes. The smartphone retains the same camera specs as its predecessor, featuring a 108 MP primary camera complemented by a 5 MP depth shooter.
Speaking of the front, it has a 16 MP selfie camera (down from the 50 MP of the Honor 200 Lite) for capturing selfies and video chats. Under the hood, the Honor 400 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with no room for storage expansion.
The battery of a smartphone is now bigger than before. A 5,230 mAh battery (up from 4,500 mAh of the last-generation model) powers the internals and supports 35 W wired charging. Software-wise, the device runs Android 15-based Magic OS 9.0 out of the box, and there’s no word on software support from the brand.
Dimensionally, the 5G-enabled smartphone measures just 7.2 mm (0.28 inches) in thickness and weighs around 171 grams (0.37 lbs.) Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an AI camera button similar to the iPhone 16 Pro Max (curr. at $1,035 on Amazon), and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity support.
Available in velvet black, mars green, and velvet grey colorways, the Honor 400 Lite is priced at £249.99/€299 for the base 8 GB + 256 GB model. It will be available in the UK and Europe from the 22nd of April via Honor’s official website.
