Casio is rumored to be developing a new model: the G-Shock GBA-950. The watch has appeared at certification bodies in two countries, confirming that it will offer Bluetooth connectivity. Plus, a recent report suggests that it will share similarities with the Pro Trek PRJ-B00.

The Casio G-Shock GBA-950 watch is rumored to be on the way. The new model is listed in the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) database. Here, it is described as a Bluetooth device with approval code 24J99E45W007. The same model number is also found in the database of Anatel (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações) in Brazil. These filings do not reveal any further details about this rumored watch.

However, a recent report suggests that the Casio G-Shock GBA-950 will share similarities with the Pro Trek PRJ-B00, and will be a model designed to be worn day-to-day. This older lightweight wearable has Bluetooth, allowing you to connect it to your smartphone for Casio Watches app features like auto time adjustment and phone finder. Other features include Tough Solar charging and support for world time. According to the dedicated Casio blog Great G-Shock World, the GBA-950 will differ from the PRJ-B001 with a greater water resistance of 20 ATM.

Based on its name, it is likely that the GBA-950 will also share similarities with the GBA-900. These are step-tracking watches that are compatible with Strava and offer Bluetooth connectivity like the Pro Trek model. It is unclear when the Casio G-Shock GBA-950 watch could launch and in which regions it would be available.
