We recently reported on the Casio G-Shock DW-5600BBR-1, which leaked as an upcoming UK-exclusive release with little fanfare and zero confirmation of a broader collection. That changed today.
An Instagram post by collector Morgan G-Shock (@morgan_gshock) has surfaced showing off what appears to be the full "Black and Bold Red" lineup - five models in total. Each watch is dressed in matte black resin and features red-accented digital displays. The five models are listed below:
- GX-56BBR-1A – This is easily the most standout model in the lot, clearly identifiable by its oversized, shock-resistant casing and red solar-powered LCD.
- GA-B2100BBR-1A – This classic octagonal model is from the popular "CasiOak" family. It features analog-digital functionality, Tough Solar, and Bluetooth support.
- GA-700BBR-1A – This beefy analog-digital watch is the second image in the post. Its large push buttons and pronounced bezel give it away.
- GD-O100BBR-1 – A newer model in the mix, this one features a full digital display and layout aligning with G-Shock's oversized GD format.
- DW-5600BBR-1 – Previously leaked and already reported, this classic square model rounds off the set. It’s easily the most minimalist of the five.
The consistency in color treatment across the lineup - matte black cases, bold red displays, and subtle grey text - lends even more credibility to the idea that this is a full limited-edition series. There is no official release confirmation yet, but Casio’s history of color-themed collections (like the "Black x Gold" or "Neo Tokyo" sets) makes this a likely multi-watch drop.
With five confirmed models now surfacing, the "Black and Bold Red" series looks to be another carefully coordinated G-Shock capsule. The Japanese company should make an official launch announcement any day now.
