The Casio G-Shock GBA-950 was spotted in certification databases quite recently with little more than a name and vague Bluetooth confirmation. Now, we have our first clear look at the model, thanks to newly surfaced promotional images (courtesy of @morgan_gshock on Instagram) - and they all but confirm that the watch is a direct evolution of the GBA-900 lineup.
The new GBA-950 appears to retain the same core layout as its predecessor, featuring analog-digital timekeeping, Bluetooth connectivity, and the same "Step Tracker" branding front and center. Visually, though, the design does look a little more refined than the GBA-900: the inner dial looks way cleaner with slimmer edges around the display, and the side button labels like "Mode," "Lap," and "Start" now feature bolder, more legible fonts.
Three color options are known as of writing: a black model with green accents, a white-gray version with neon yellow markers, and a bold purple option. All three colorways share the same button layout and case design.
No formal specification sheet has been published yet, but the GBA-950 is expected to continue offering core G-Shock Bluetooth features - automatic time sync, phone finder, and step tracking via the G-Shock Move app. Tough Solar is still unconfirmed, though it was mentioned in a previous leak that the GBA-950 might inherit features from the Pro Trek PRJ-B00 series, which includes solar charging and world time support.
Judging by the updated visuals and continued focus on Bluetooth fitness integration, it seems Casio will target buyers who want a sporty, daily-wear G-Shock that bridges the gap between analog feel and smart tracking. Release timelines are still unclear, but these new images suggest a full reveal is likely not far off.
