An update is rolling out to the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch. This model was released at the end of March 2025 with various upgrades over its predecessor, the Bip 5. These include a brighter AMOLED display, the BioTracker 6.0 and an improved battery life of up to 14 days with typical use.
Now, software version 3.0.8.3 has been reported by users of the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch. The official change log for this update does not reveal many details. However, a member of the Amazfit team has confirmed that this release resolves an issue that caused the device to reboot unexpectedly. This problem had been flagged by multiple customers on social media, with the wearable said to restart multiple times a day in some cases. Users have yet to confirm whether the rebooting issue is completely solved through this latest update.
You can download software version 3.0.8.3 via the Zepp app by going to Profile > Amazfit Bip 6 > System Update. It is unclear whether this update is rolling out in phases or if it is already available for all users of the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch (curr. $79.99 at Amazon).
