Garmin has issued another update for the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E smartwatches, beta version 9.09. This is the second release in this first beta testing cycle, arriving a few days after beta version 9.07. This earlier update brought new features like Passcode and support for the Garmin Connect+ subscription.
Beta version 9.07 is a smaller release for these newer Instinct wearables. According to the change log, it tackles a problem with the activity power mode setting in Garmin Connect Mobile. Plus, there is a bug fix relating to the Jump Rope activity; an issue with the “Target Finished” alert has been resolved. However, this is only for the Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct 3 Solar smartwatches (50mm Charcoal version curr. $449.99 at Amazon).
On top of this, there are said to be other minor bug fixes and improvements, though Garmin has not provided any further details here. At the time of writing, users have not flagged any new bugs with beta version 9.09. The Instinct 3 and Instinct E smartwatches are receiving beta version 9.09 over the air (OTA) via Bluetooth and Garmin Connect Mobile, or through Garmin Express.
