Apple is thought to introduce the latest in iPhone design language with the 17 series. Some of it is allegedly on display in advance in a new in-the-wild leak. It purports to confirm the differences in appearance between the 16 Pro and its upcoming successor.

The iPhone 17 Pro is thought to have essentially the same camera hump as the 16 Pro, just disguised within a new Pixel 9 Pro-esque bar that also encompasses sensors at the opposite side of the rear panel.

It is said to be precision-cut from a blend of metal and glass on the 17 Pro's back in a way that demands a case with a wide window rather than a square cut-out - like the one that seems to feature in a new photo posted by the well-known leaker Majin Bu.

The device lacks details such as an Apple logo in the new leak, which calls its veracity as a genuine next-gen iPhone into question a little. Nevertheless, it seems to reiterate earlier claims that the 17 Pro will distinguish itself with more of a two-tone look.

It also supports the idea that the rear panel under the camera has a new outline around the MagSafe coil, although whether it is purely cosmetic or otherwise remains clear at this point.
