Xiaomi released its latest update on Sunday, which brings a number of stability improvements for a number of smartphones. Moreover, minor bugs in connection with native apps and widgets have been fixed.
HyperOS update 2.0.114.0: Changelog in detail
The update is available for all Xiaomi smartphones with HyperOS 2.0, such as the Xiaomi 14T Pro, Xiaomi 13T Pro, and Xiaomi 12T. Redmi and Poco models will also receive the new update. In the case of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, two major problems have been rectified.
Users on the Xiaomi Community previously reported, among other things, screen distortions that made the home screen unusable. The phenomenon was accompanied by a constant beeping of the speakers, ultimately resulting in the smartphone shutting down. In other cases, the touchscreen of the Turbo 4 Pro tended to flicker and even freeze completely, regardless of whether the smartphone was being used or was inactive. Both bugs have been fixed by the HyperOS 2.0.114.0 update.
Furthermore, some apps have been adjusted and minor bugs resolved. For example, screen recordings would occasionally freeze or the battery life would no longer be displayed. The weather widget was also prone to freezing if closed too quickly, occasionally causing the smartphone to crash. Such errors are now a thing of the past.
Depending on the settings, the update will either be installed automatically or a manual update is required. Users of the relevant smartphone models are advised to double check this in the settings under "Software" and "Update".
