Chuwi AuBox launches as new mini PC with a capable AMD Ryzen APU

Chuwi first introduced the AuBox in February 2025, but back then, the company didn't reveal pricing and availability details. Now, the mini PC is available to purchase, and on AliExpress, it's going for $449, which is slightly more affordable than some of the other compact PCs with a similar set of specs.

For those who missed our first coverage, the AuBox packs the Ryzen 7 8745HS, which is basically the same as the 8845HS but without the NPU. This AMD APU is part of the Hawk Point line, and it features 8 Zen 4 cores and has a boost clock of up to 4.9 GHz.

It also features the Radeon 780M, making the Chuwi AuBox capable of handling most AAA games at low to medium presets in 1080p. Another highlight of this new mini PC is that it features a USB4 port, allowing users to get a more capable gaming setup with an eGPU (GMKtec AD-GP1 curr. $469.99 on Amazon). Of course, an OCuLink port would've made the system more ideal for such setups.

Chuwi also claims that the AuBox features an advanced cooling system that enables the mini PC to run at up to 65 W TDP setting. Other highlights include Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 6, dual-channel SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 32 GB of RAM, and two M.2 2280 slots with support for up to 2 TB PCIe 4.0 storage. The company is selling only one configuration on AliExpress, which pairs the AMD APU with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD.
