The Lenovo Legion Tab 3 turns out to be a very versatile mid-range tablet for an official MSRP of $549 at Lenovo’s official online store. It impressed us with its light and compact chassis, but also because there’s barely any competition in the tablet segment under 10 inches. Only the Apple iPad Mini (2024) comes to mind.
The Lenovo tablet is equipped with a powerful Qualcomm chipset, which means that the Legion Tab 3 is suitable for many use cases. Its dual USB ports and Desktop Mode are useful for productivity workflows, while the active pen is great for creatives. The stylus support is specifically advertised and turns the tablet into a digital notepad.
Lenovo tablet with 165Hz display
Due to the Legion branding, this Lenovo tablet might be an interesting option for gaming enthusiasts. In case the smartphone display is too small for mobile gaming, this group of users might appreciate the combination of powerful hardware and a good-looking screen that doesn’t use PWM. Without the typical flickering of OLED panels, the Legion Tab 3 is easier on the eyes and more comfortable to use over longer periods of time.
However, there are also some limitations that should be mentioned, since they prevent the gaming tablet from becoming a full-fledged smartphone replacement. To find out more, please check out our in-depth review of the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3.
