Boost Mobile, a company known for its affordable Celero smartphone lineup, has launched its first-ever tablet, the Celero5G. Boost Mobile’s latest tablet, designed for budget-conscious users in mind, comes with a decent set of features for the price. Interestingly, it comes with 5G connectivity support.
Let’s start with the display. Boost Mobile packs a large 10.95-inch FHD IPS display into the Celero5G tablet that supports a 90 Hz refresh rate. The tablet is IP52 rated, offering protection against dust and water. Dimensionally, it measures 10.18 x 6.70 x 0.32 inches (258.5 x 170.1 x 8.1 mm) and weighs around 18.36 oz (520.4 grams).
The Celero5G tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8755 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 1 TB via microSD card. Buyers will be pleased to know that the device runs on the latest Android 15 operating system out of the box. However, there’s no word on the software support from the brand, indicating software updates may never arrive.
The 5G-enabled tablet boasts a large 7,500 mAh battery and supports 20 W wired charging via USB-C. For photography, Boost Mobile has incorporated a dual rear camera setup at the back consisting of a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP macro shooter. Upfront, it has a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Other features include dual speakers with BoostMax Audio for rich and crystal-clear sound, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, kids mode, and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity support.
Available in a single cloud silver colorway, the Boost Celero5G tablet is priced at $199 for the 4 GB + 128 GB variant. The tablet is now available for purchase via Boost Mobile’s official website.
