Oppo's new premium model is certainly one of the best tablets currently on the market and scores very well in our review. Nevertheless, there are some areas where the Oppo Pad 4 Pro falls short of its highend competitors. One in particular stands out in everyday use. Readers can take a look at our detailed review here to find out which one that is.
The Pad 4 Pro combines high-quality workmanship, powerful hardware and an attractive price-performance ratio. There are hardly any real alternatives in the same price range. While premium tablets with a large screen, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra or the Apple iPad Pro 13, come with a high price tag, the Oppo Pad offers comparable performance at a significantly lower price ($600 at Trading Schenzen, for example).
The Oppo Pad 4 Pro is powered by a fast Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which ensures high performance and a smooth user experience in everyday use. Even demanding games and multitasking for productive work pose no issue for the tablet.
Powerful Andoid tablet with a large screen and no PWM
The 13.2-inch display of the Oppo Pad 4 Pro is one of the mid-range tablet's strengths, despite its liquid crystal display. While the panel certainly cannot match the contrast of its significantly more expensive OLED competitors, the Pad 4 Pro does have advantages over a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra or the iPad Pro 13. Image quality is sharp thanks to a high resolution of 3,392 x 2,400 and a high pixel density of 315 PPI. Also worth mentioning is that the screen's technology works without pulse-width modulation, meaning that low-frequency flickering does not occur. This is a clear advantage for sensitive users, especially for tablet users who spend a lot of time looking at the display for reading or browsing.
