Vivo has released a series of teaser images officially confirming that the Vivo T4 Ultra will be announced on Wednesday, June 11. The company has already revealed initial details about the affordable flagship, publishing images that show the pill-shaped camera module and rounded frame.
The Vivo T4 Ultra is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, a flagship processor powered by an ARM Cortex X4 Prime core with boost clock speeds up to 3.4 GHz, three Cortex X4 performance cores at 2.9 GHz, and four Cortex A520 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. While the chip isn't quite up to date, it still delivers performance that can keep pace with most mid-range smartphones. The Vivo T4 Ultra is also said to feature a 120 Hz OLED display with a slightly curved edge.
Unlike many performance flagships, the Vivo T4 Ultra does not forgo a telephoto camera. Rather, it comes with a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with triple optical zoom, based on the Sony IMX882 in 1/1.95 inch format, as well as optical image stabilization (OIS) and a macro mode. There is also a 50 MP main camera with OIS and Sony IMX921 in 1/1.56 inch format and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
According to rumors, the Vivo T4 Ultra has a 5,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery that can be charged via USB-C with up to 90 watts. Other features include a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display, a 50 MP selfie camera and an AMOLED display with a peak HDR brightness of 5,000 nits. More details on the price, availability and features are expected at the launch on June 11 at the latest.
