After weeks of rumors, Vivo has created a teaser website officially confirming that the Vivo S30 Pro Mini will be unveiled on Thursday, May 29. The teaser page reveals the smartphone in yellow, pink, blue and black. The blue model, at the very least, will have a metal frame color that matches the back, while the other models will have a black frame.
The pill-shaped camera module is relatively small, not least because the third camera and LED flash are placed to the right of the module. The Vivo S30 Pro Mini features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This makes the smartphone similarly compact to the Apple iPhone 16 or the Google Pixel 9.
Despite its compact dimensions and 7.99-millimeter-thin, 186-gram body, Vivo has managed to install a gigantic 6,500 mAh battery, which, together with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, is expected to provide both reasonable battery life and first-class performance. The housing is IP69-certified and so completely waterproof. An optical fingerprint sensor is also installed, which is likely to be integrated directly into the display.
The relatively small camera module houses a 50 MP main camera with OIS, which is based on the Sony IMX921 sensor in 1/1.56 inch format. There is also a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with triple optical zoom and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Further details on the price, availability and other features of the S30 Pro Mini are expected to be confirmed at the launch event on May 29.
