Previously, it seemed as though Vivo was going to retire the Pro Mini version of its X300 series Android flagships, but that was subsequently disproven in more recent leaks. Now, however, it seems as though specifications for the new compact flagship are starting to leak via the usual sources.
Expected Vivo X300 Pro Mini specs
While Vivo calls its Pro Mini line-up "compact" smartphones, they more accurately fit into the regular flagship smartphone class from the likes of Samsung and Apple. The same is true for the expected Vivo X300 Pro Mini, since the leaks tip a display in the neighbourhood of 6.3-inches. As with last year's X200 Pro Mini, the X300 Pro Mini is expected to launch with symmetrical bezels and a flat display — meaning no curved edges.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the X300 Pro Mini's leaked spec sheet is the 7,000 mAh battery that has been reported by Digital Chat Station on Weibo — that's a sizeable increase over the 5,700 mAh in the Vivo X200 Pro Mini that impressed in our review and substantially larger than the 5,850 mAh in the OnePlus 13S that was recently praised for its two-day battery life in MKBHD's review on YouTube. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,049.99 on Amazon) and its 6.9-inch frame houses a 5,000 mAh battery that managed nearly 46 hours of idle time and just over 32 hours of 1080p video playback in our recent review.
It seems as though the camera system on the Vivo X300 Pro Mini will be very similar to the one found on the X200 Pro Mini, with the return of a periscope zoom camera. Leaks suggest that the fingerprint scanner will be getting an upgrade from the optical under-screen unit in the X200 Pro Mini to an ultrasonic scanner in the X300 Pro Mini.
There are still no details on an expected launch date for the Vivo X300 Pro Mini, but an October 2025 launch makes sense, since that is when Vivo tends to launch its flagship phones.
