The Vivo X200 series currently consists of three devices, including the standard model, the X200 Pro Mini, and the X200 Pro. The company is expected to bring mid-year refresh models, including the X200s and X200s Pro. Additionally, the company may launch the X200 Ultra succeeding last year’s X100 Ultra.
A new leak suggests that the Vivo X200s will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the leak suggests that the phone will have wireless charging support. The leak also says that these two features may become a standard for future Vivo X series models. For comparison, last year’s X100s featured an optical in-display scanner and lacked wireless charging support.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation regarding the X200s models and the X200 Ultra. Vivo launched last year’s X100s models and X100 Ultra in May, hence we can expect a similar launch timeframe for the successors.
Apart from this, the leaker also talks about the successor to the X200 Pro Mini. For those unaware, the X200 Pro Mini is Vivo’s flagship compact smartphone. It has a 6.3-inch display and includes top-tier specifications like Dimensity 9400 chipset, a Zeiss-branded camera system, and a large battery capacity.
Previously, there were rumors that Vivo may ditch the X300 Pro Mini. However, the new leak suggests that the device is in the works and it is currently in the prototype stage. For now, there is no concrete information regarding the specifications of the phone.
