The Nothing Phone 3a is now confirmed to launch on March 4, and the company has recently shown the redesigned rear camera island of the device. With the latest teaser, the brand has hinted that the device may feature a new button, which may have taken inspiration from the iPhone 16 series.
Nothing has shared the image with the caption "Your second memory, one click away." Here, by "second memory," the company is likely hinting at the pictures and videos that we take to capture moments, suggesting that it could very well be a dedicated camera button.
As for the placement of the button, it appears to be right underneath the power button, which would be a little awkward place for a camera button to be. But then again, it's not fully clear what the function of the extra button will be. It may even end up being something similar to the iPhone's Action button.
While the other specs of the Nothing Phone 3a are still under wraps, recent leaks suggest that the device may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a mid-range SoC. The leaks have also hinted that the smartphone will have a 6.8-inch OLED screen, a 32 MP selfie shooter, and a triple camera on the back with a 50 MP primary and 50 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom.
Nothing's upcoming Phone 3a is also rumored to feature a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging (30 W Anker Zolo power bank curr. $15.59 on Amazon). Given that the smartphone is set to launch next month, the company may soon confirm some of these leaked specs through more teasers.
