After launching a phone that changes color when the temperature gets cooler, Realme is preparing for the launch of a new smartphone that glows in the dark. The new phone is the Realme P3 Pro 5G, and it's scheduled for release later this month.
The Realme P3 Pro will be announced first in India on February 18, and according to Realme, it is the segment's 1st glow-in-the-dark design
. Although there will be three colors — Nebula Glow, Saturn Brown, and Galaxy Purple — only the first glows in the dark. The brown variant hasn't been revealed yet but the purple variant has a faux leather finish. In addition to the colors, Realme has also revealed some details of the phone.
While most phones have a flat frame, the Realme P3 Pro will have a curved one and a thickness of just 7.99mm despite packing a 6,000mAh battery. Unlike the Realme P2 Pro which has a curved display, the Realme P3 Pro will have a flat screen with a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, have two rear cameras including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, and triple dust and water resistance IP rating (IP69, IP68, and IP66). In addition, the Realme P3 Pro will also have a 6050mm² vapor cooling chamber and 80W fast wired charging. Unfortunately, it won't have an audio jack.
The Realme P3 Pro will be available to buy directly from Realme and from Flipkart when it launches. Alongside the P3 Pro, Realme is also expected to release a standard and an ultra model, but it doesn't seem they will be announced next week.
