Realme has unveiled its latest midrange P3 series in India. The Realme P3 series consists of the P3 Pro and the P3x smartphone. Both smartphones come with different chipsets. More specifically, the P3 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, while the latter is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. Specs-wise, the P3 Pro and P3x are slightly different from each other, but one thing that is common in both smartphones is the battery. The P3 series boasts a 6,000 mAh large battery, with the P3 Pro supporting 80 W while the P3x dials up to 45 W wired charging.
The Pro variant is most likely aimed at mid-level users with slightly higher demands. The Realme P3 Pro has a 6.83-inch 3D curved OLED screen that outputs at 2800 x 1272 resolution with a peak brightness of 1500 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel also covers a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and supports a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
For optics, the 5G-enabled smartphone features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 2 MP portrait sensor. It runs Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 out of the box. The company promises two major OS updates (Android 16 and 17) and three years of security updates, which is still low compared to Samsung’s Galaxy A06 device (curr. at $98.50 on Amazon), which has five and six years of updates.
Other features of the Realme P3 Pro include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating, a 16 MP selfie camera, and WiFi 6 support. Dimensionally, it measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 7.99 mm (6.43 x 3.04 x 0.31 inches) and weighs 190 grams (0.41 lbs).
Available in Nebula Glow, Galaxy Purple, and Saturn Brown colorways, the Realme P3 Pro starts at INR 23,999 (~$276) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant, while the high-end 12 GB + 256 GB is priced at INR 26,999 (~$310). It will be available in India starting February 28 from Realme’s official website and Flipkart.
