Nothing has introduced a new Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition smartphone. The Community Edition phone has a unique glow-in-the-dark color scheme and offers fan-made “Connected Collection” wallpapers. Nothing’s new "designed by fans for fans" limited edition phone is limited to only 1,000 units.

Nothing has launched a new Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition smartphone. Nothing’s new limited edition smartphone comes with a very unique glow-in-the-dark “Phosphorescence” color scheme. It’s the outcome of Nothing’s “Community Edition Project”, where Nothing challenged fans to submit ideas for a new limited edition phone. “Nothing” got a great response from the fans with over 900 entries, but only five winners were chosen and they worked with Nothing’s expert team to shape this final product.

Let’s talk about its physical appearance, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition is pretty much similar to its original model, but what sets it apart from the original smartphone is its “Phosphorescence” color scheme. Nothing’s new “designed by fans for fans” limited edition smartphone features the same clear back design with elements like NFC coil, ribbon cables, and some LED lights pasted on it.

Additionally, Nothing applied a new green-tinted phosphorescent material to the back side of the smartphone, helping it stand out among hordes of other phones. This material emits a soft green light in the dark which this requires no power source and lasts for hours, and it automatically "charges" from daylight.

Aside from the glows-in-the-dark design, Nothing also loaded the fan-made “Connected Collection” wallpapers, which is created using a combination of AI tools and hands-on design. The smartphone box also got a new refreshing design with a macro shot of the camera module and reflective elements carved on the box which perfectly complements the smartphone’s unique appearance.

Speaking about features, the limited edition smartphone comes with the same specifications as the original Nothing Phone 2a Plus. You get a beautiful 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate support. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for cameras, there’s a 50MP main camera coupled with a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP selfie camera.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition phone starts at €449 / £399 / $399 / ₹29,999. The Community Edition phone is limited to just 1000 units and you can snag the one starting 12th November via Nothing’s official website and other authorized retailers.
