This year, Nothing announced three smartphones — the Nothing Phone (2a), Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, and the Nothing CMF Phone 1. Now, new info says the London-based brand is working on three new phones which will likely be announced in the first half of 2025. The info comes Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) who posted it on X.
One of the three phones is the already confirmed Nothing Phone (3) which is believed to be the device with the model number Nothing A059
spotted on Geekbench earlier. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and come with AI features.
Nothing is also reported to be planning a Nothing Phone (3) Pro with a more powerful chipset than the standard model. According to ITHome, the phone has the model number A059P
and the codename Hisuian Arcanine
. It is also speculated to have a larger 6.7-inch display, a periscope telephoto lens, and MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 processor powering it.
The identity of the third phone remains unknown, but if we could wager a guess, it'll be a successor to or a refresh of the CMF Phone 1 (available on Amazon for $289) which will cater to the budget and entry-level category since the Nothing Phone (3) and Nothing Phone (3) Pro will serve the mid-range and flagship categories respectively.
While these three phones are expected to launch in the first half of 2025, the info should be taken with a grain of salt. Manufacturers often change their plans and can delay a product. It is also not unusual for devices to be cancelled.
