OnePlus x Sharge innovative modular power bank pre-order date revealed

OnePlus and Sharge tout their inaugural co-designed product as the "ONLY All-in-one Charger You Ever Need". On first glance, it might look like an unusually long power brick with fold-down wall prongs at one end and USB connectivity at the other; however, the OEMs assert that it has far more on offer for its users.

They include a magnetic management system for its cable, which should also come with its own protective port-sleeves. The main power bank is also detachable (thanks to more magnets) and has dual USB ports, allowing the whole modular system to charge up to 3 devices at once.

Sharge claims to have "co-engineered" the Pouch with the OnePlus Community with high-end materials for "Premium Portability" that can charge over 1,000 devices that range from iPhones or iPads to Pixel-series smartphones as well as "low-current" devices such as earbud cases.

To that end, the accessory is rated for OnePlus/OPPO's signature SuperVOOC charging as well as more universal PD charging...that apparently top out at 55 watts (W) and 40W thus far, whereas OnePlus' own flagship 12 is rated for up to 100W.

Nevertheless, Sharge is confident the Pouch is ready to counter the "shortcomings" of all other power banks from May 27, 2024 when it goes to pre-order. Its price has yet to be revealed, although it is still possible to grab a 30% discount coupon from the OEM's website ahead of this event.
