The Shargeek 140 is the latest in Sharge's line of power banks uniquely styled to put their internal components on show. The crowdfunding darling is now available as a retail unit, with the same high-capacity batteries and 100W USB-C port. It can be ordered for less than $90 in conjunction with the brand's Summer Sale right now.

The Shargeek 140 might look like its 130 (formerly Storm2 Slim) predecessor in "monochrome" on first glance, but has an updated version of its series' Smart Display and has superior specs (on paper, at least) as its USB type-A port is rated for a max output of 40W.

Then again, most users might be more interested in its up-to-100W USB-C charging option, which is more than enough for a wide range of smartphones, tablets and even laptops.

There is only 1 of each port, in keeping with the 140's "exquisite" minimalist esthetic - however, that was appealing enough for Sharge to collect well over $200,000 from more than 2,000 backers to crowd-fund the new accessory on Kickstarter.

That campaign ended in early July 2024, enabling the brand to release the Shargeek 140 to retail no more than 2 weeks later.

It is priced at $99 on sharge.com and Amazon - although one needs a Prime membership to unlock that price on the latter platform, where the new 20,000mAh (or 72Wh for airline-approval purposes) power bank costs $116 otherwise.

However, Sharge is also running its Summer Sale at the time of writing, an event that allows a buyer to take 10% off any order - even one for a new Shargeek 140 - with the code SUMMERSALE10 for a limited time.
