RoboUP launches new T1200Pro robot mower without boundary wire
A new robot lawn mower from RoboUP has arrived: the T1200Pro. The model is now on sale at Amazon in Germany, and a product listing has also appeared in France. The T1200Pro follows the T500P and T1000P models launched at Amazon last summer.
The new T1200Pro can cover a larger area than the older devices, suited to gardens up to 1,200m² (~13,000 ft²) in size. Other upgrades include a premium RTK system for cm-level precision alongside the VSLAM technology in the T1000P. These navigational tools mean you do not need to lay a physical boundary wire in your garden, and the robot can automatically create a map of your garden. You can use the accompanying app to adjust the map manually, configuring up to ten mowing areas and 50 exclusion zones. The app can also be used to set up a schedule and adjust settings like the cutting height. On top of this, the mower has AI Smart Eye obstacle avoidance and AI route planning, cutting in parallel lines for a striped effect on your lawn. Other features include an anti-theft alarm and LED lights, allowing the mower to work at night.
You can now buy the RoboUP T1200Pro robot lawn mower at Amazon in Germany for €1,799; the pricing for the model in France has yet to be announced. It is unclear whether or when the new smart home gadget could reach other countries like Spain and Italy, where RoboUP already sells some of its older products.
