RoboUP T500P and T1000P lawn mowers now available via Amazon
The RoboUP TM01 robot lawn mower is now available at Amazon in Europe, in countries including France, Italy, Spain and Germany. The product launch at the retailer follows a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, which raised over HK$1.2 million (~US$1.6 million) earlier this year.
You can now buy the RoboUP T500P for €1,499.99 (~US$1,628) and the RoboUP T1000P for €1,899.99 (~US$2,062). Plus, customers in Germany can use voucher code DEROBOUP to get €150 (~US$163) off the T500P, reducing the cost to €1,349.99 (~US$1,465), and €190 (~US$206) off the T100P, bringing the price down to €1,709.99 (~US$1,856). It is unclear how long this deal will last. The T500P is suitable for lawns up to 500 m² (~5,382 ft²), while the T100P can handle gardens up to 1,000 m² (~10,764 ft²) in size.
The RoboUP robot mowers use the C-PASS system, which combines RTK, VSLAM, INS and AI Vision to navigate your lawn without needing a boundary wire. AI obstacle detection ensures the robot avoids plants, furniture and pets, and a side-mounted blade helps the mower to trim lawn edges. You can also manage multiple zones and control the mower using a smartphone app. The app can also notify you of any problems encountered by the RoboUP lawn mower, and an upcoming OTA update will allow you to control the device with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. Deliveries of the new RoboUP TM01 lawn mowers for Amazon orders are expected to begin mid to late July.
