MagyarXiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300 with night color vision now available in the EU
The Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300 has arrived in the EU; the gadget arrived in China last September. The 3MP camera has 2K Full HD resolution with a wide angle to give you a broad view of your property. Thanks to four LEDs, you can record video at night with intelligent color night vision.
The AW300’s focus area adjustment tool, used within a 25 m (~82 ft) range, allows for more precise detection, allowing you to filter out areas you do not need to survey. You can communicate with visitors via a two-way video intercom, and an audible alarm and flashing lights can be used to deter intruders. You can view the video feeds for up to four cameras simultaneously via the Xiaomi app. The device supports cloud storage and microSD up to 256GB. The camera has an external Wi-Fi antenna for a more stable connection, and video transmission is fully encrypted via the AES-128 algorithm.
The Xiaomi security camera is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control the camera with voice commands. You can also link the device to other smart home products, such as locking doors and activating motion detectors inside your home when a disturbance is detected. You can now buy the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300 in European countries such as France and Germany for €59.99; the gadget is expected to retail for €69.99 in the future. It is unclear whether or when the device could launch in other markets, such as the US and the UK.
