Anker Solix brand launches with new home energy solutions
Anker has revealed a new sub-brand, Solix, focusing on home energy devices. So far, the range includes solar balcony solutions, modular solar battery storage systems, and the old Anker PowerHouse portable power stations have been rebranded to Anker Solix. The Anker Solix Balcony Solution arrived in Europe earlier this year; the set-up includes two solar panels and an inverter, aiming to reduce your energy bill.
Three new products were unveiled as part of the Solix announcement: the Anker Solix Solarbank E1600, F1200 Portable Power Station Bundle with RS40/RS40P and the All-in-One Energy Storage Solution. Aimed at Europe, the Solarbank E1600 is a balcony power storage solution with a 1.6 kWh capacity. Thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, you can control the device via an app thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the gadget has IP65 water and dust resistance. The Anker Solix F1200 Portable Power Station bundle is also aimed at Europe. The product combines the Balcony Solution with a portable power station, which could be used during a blackout or when you are travelling. The Anker Solix E1600 has an RRP of €1,199, and the bundles start from €2,188.
The Anker Solix All-in-One Energy Storage Solution is a modular battery solution, scalable from 5 to 180 kWh. The company suggests that the solution could allow you to go off-grid for anywhere from a few hours to a week, compatible with other energy solutions such as heat pumps and gas-powered generators. Anker also hinted at an EV charging solution that would be unveiled later. The Anker Solix All-in-One Energy Storage Solution will launch globally in 2024; the pricing of this product range remains unclear.
