New EROC MAX cheaper 1080p projector launches
The EROC MAX projector is now on sale in various countries in Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia and the Philippines. According to the manufacturer, the 1080p model has up to 415 ANSI lumens or 3,000 lumens brightness from a 4.41-in (~112 mm) LCD panel. You can use the projector to throw images from 50 to 200-in (~127 to 508 cm) wide, and the gadget has 4K decoding technology.
You can perfect the image with 45° keystone correction and electronic focus, and the MAX has MEMC motion smoothing and picture quality enhancement tools. The EROC projector runs on Android with the ZEASN OS, allowing you to stream content from popular platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and Disney+. Alternatively, you can cast content from a mobile device thanks to support for dual-band Wi-Fi. You can also connect gadgets via USB-A, HDMI ports and a headphone jack.
The projector boots without ads in around 15 seconds and has two built-in 3W speakers with support for Dolby Audio. The EROC MAX projector currently retails in Indonesia at Tokopedia for the discounted price of IDR 2,999,900 (~US$162), typically costing IDR 5,999,900 (~US$325). You can currently buy the gadget in the Philippines for PHP 9,390 (~US$167) from Shopee. It is unclear whether or when this cheaper model could reach other markets, such as the US.
