The Samsung HW-Q900C soundbar has been unveiled in the US. The 2023 model joins the HW-Q990C in the company’s flagship Q-series. The HW-Q900C is a 7.1.2 channel soundbar with tools such as SpaceFit Sound Pro to optimize the audio for the room. The new device brings various improvements, including Q-Symphony 3.0, to enhance the sound across the built-in TV speakers and the soundbar.
Adaptive Sounds technology automatically enhances dialogue, and Game Mode Pro provides a 3D audio experience suited to gamers. The HW-Q900C has built-in Wireless Dolby Atmos, and the accompanying subwoofer has an acoustic lens for smooth bass. You can control the device with the Bixby or Amazon Alexa voice assistant when linked to an Amazon Echo Device. You can also wirelessly pair the soundbar to your iPhone or iPad via Apple AirPlay 2.
Samsung claims it is easy to pair the 5.4 x 48.5 x 2.7-in (~137 x 1,232 x 69 mm) soundbar with an eligible Samsung TV from the 2022 and 2023 ranges. The device comes with a remote, HDMI cable and wall mounting kit. You can now pre-order the Samsung HW-900C soundbar at Amazon for US$1,397.99. The device will officially launch on May 29; Samsung’s plans to roll out the device worldwide are unknown.
