Deal | Bose TV Speaker soundbar gets 29% discount on Amazon and returns to all-time low
TV buyers who are looking to upgrade their audio system for around US$200 have quite a few budget-friendly options to choose from these days, but a soundbar made by the American company Bose is usually not among them. Fortunately, an ongoing deal from Amazon has changed this situation as the Bose TV Speaker system has once received a noteworthy discount.
After a two-month stint at its official MSRP of US$279, the Bose TV Speaker is back on sale at Amazon, which is where the standalone soundbar can now be ordered with a discount of 29 percent or US$80. The resulting sale price of US$199 matches Amazon’s lowest price ever for the Bose TV Speaker according to Camelcamelcamel. This product sports a rather simple but also space-saving 3.0-channel setup that is just 23 inches wide and should easily fit on smallish TV stands.
Although the Bose TV Speaker is the brand’s most affordable soundbar, it further features an HDMI port in addition to the usual optical audio input, Bluetooth 4.2 and classic AUX connectivity options. As the name already suggests, this audio system is designed to act as a more capable replacement for the rather flat integrated speakers of modern televisions, but this soundbar can also be hooked up to a compatible Bose Bass Module 500 subwoofer (from US$449 on Amazon), which would be a suitable setup for more demanding home theater fans. But even as a standalone solution, this Amazon deal is a good choice in the US$200 price range.
