Zemismart Wi-Fi Matter-certified smart blind controller now available
Zemismart has released the Wi-Fi Matter-certified Roller Shade Motor. Thanks to the Matter standard, the gadget lets you control your blinds via Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps or with voice control assistants like Google Assistant or Siri. Plus, the smart blind controller does not require a separate hub or bridge.
Alternatively, you can purchase a remote for RF controls. Functions of the Zemismart Matter smart shade controller include timing controls, allowing you to set the blinds to open or close at a specific time. You can also open the blind to a particular position and view the status of the curtain in an app. The gadget can be quickly added to your smart home network by scanning a QR code on the device. It is worth noting that the controller does not have a battery and must instead be wired in. The smart home gadget comes with a built-in Wi-Fi Matter module and is rated for 25 RPM.
The device is 357 mm (~14.1-in) long and is suitable for blinds with a 36 to 38 mm (~1.4 x 1.5-in) tube, bearing loads up to 4 kg (~8.8 lb). You can now buy the Zemismart Matter Roller Shade Motor in the US with a 42% discount, reducing the typical US$90.00 cost to US$52.20. Bundles which include a remote currently start from US$54.52. It is unclear how long these deals will last. Free shipping is available to countries such as the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and France.
