The Smart Monitor M7 series is receiving a 2023 refresh, as are the Smart Monitor M5 and M8 series. The middle child of Samsung's new Smart Monitor range, the Monitor M7 series consists of 27-inch and 32-inch display options, both 60 Hz panels with 4 ms GtG response times and 3,000:1 contrast ratios. Additionally, both sizes have 4K panels (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) that peak at 300 cd/㎡ with HDR10 support.
Samsung's M70C monitors also feature the same smart features as the M80C, save for a built-in SmartThings Hub. Moreover, while the M70C is 'pogo-ready' for a Slim Fit Camera, Samsung does not include one in the box. Elsewhere, the M70C has a height, pivot and tilt adjustable stand, plus 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounts and 5 W stereo speakers.
Furthermore, both M70C monitors have a single HDMI 2.0 port, two USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port that can recharge devices at up to 65 W. Samsung will release both M70C monitors first in the US, where they will be available for US$549.99 and US$599.99 for the 27-inch and 32-inch editions, respectively. In comparison, the smaller M80C costs US$649.99, while the M50C series tops out at US$299.99.
