The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop with 8-in-1 RockDock Ultra is now available in more countries. The new model first went on sale at retailers like MediaMarkt in Germany in early April. Now, customers from a wide range of countries can purchase the product directly from Roborock or at Amazon.
You can buy the black or white Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in the US for $1,799.99. Customers in Australia can get the new model for AU$2,999.00, with the offer of a free bonus accessories pack until April 30th. In EU countries like the Netherlands, the product is available at Amazon for €1,399.00 thanks to an in-page €100 coupon; the model has an RRP of €1,499.00. Plus, in France and Spain, the robot vacuum is listed with a retail price of €1,399.00.
The S8 MaxV Ultra is a powerful robot vacuum with up to 10,000 Pa suction power and 4,000 rpm mopping. The Extra Edge Spinning mop and FlexiArm side brush are said to provide edge-to-edge cleaning, and a DirTect tool can be used to adapt the cleaning plan based on the level of dirt detected by the robot. On top of that, the RockDock Ultra provides hot water and air to wash and dry the mop, as well as automatic emptying and replenishing of the onboard dustbin and water tanks. Roborock also claims it is the first Matter-certified robot vacuum on the market, allowing integration with many smart home platforms. However, Switchbot models like the SwitchBot K10+, launched last year, also offer Matter support. Pricing for the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop in other countries like Canada and the UK has yet to be announced.
