Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra flagship robot vacuum arrives with launch offers
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra has launched in the EU and will soon arrive in the US. The brand’s latest flagship robot vacuum and mop features the DuoRoller Riser Brush and up to 10,000Pa suction power, making it one of the more powerful models on the market. For mopping, there is the VibraRise 3.0 system with 4,000 rpm, which the brand calls “sonic mopping.”
The S8 MaxV Ultra has a FlexiArm side brush and Extra Edge Spinning mop system that are said to provide 100% coverage of the corners in your room. Plus, DirTect technology allows the robot to intelligently adjust the cleaning settings based on the level of dirt it can see, with the option to clean dirtier areas twice. The RockDock Ultra can not only automatically empty the dustbin and dirty water tanks and replenish clean water and detergent supplies, but it can also wash the mop at 60°C (~140°F) and dry it with 60°C (~140°F) hot air. Other features include the Hello Rocky voice assistant, Matter compatibility and video calling.
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop is now on sale in Germany at third-party retailers like MediaMarkt for €1,399, a €100 saving on the €1,499 RRP. The new product will launch in the US on April 22nd for $1,799.99. At launch, customers are offered a 5-year warranty, a Roborock Flexi Lite and two Accessory Packages for free with their purchase, worth around $1,000. When the model will roll out to more countries across Europe and North America remains to be seen.
