The Dreame Roboticmower A1 is now available at Amazon in various EU countries. The new model does not require a boundary wire and can mow an area of up to 2,000 m² (~0.5 acres/ 21,500 ft²) in a 24-hour window. Other features include an edge mowing mode and a rain detection feature.

Dreame has launched the Roboticmower A1 in the EU. Shown at CES 2024, the robot lawn mower can cover a lawn area of up to 1,000 m² (~0.25 acres/ 10,800 ft²) each day as standard, or 2,000 m² (~0.5 acres/ 21,500 ft²) in efficiency mode.

The robot uses the proprietary OmniSense 3D sensing system, with a 360° x 59° field of view, 70 m (~230 ft) range and accuracy up to 1 cm² (~0.2 in²). The LiDAR technology is used to avoid obstacles and map out your lawn in as little as 15 minutes. This also means the mower does not require a boundary wire or RTK signal poles for faster set-up and mowing area adjustments. With two large wheels at the rear and a second smaller pair towards the front, the mower can tackle inclines up to 45% (~24°) and is IPX6 dust and water-resistant, allowing for easy cleaning with water.

You can use the accompanying app to control settings like the cutting height, schedules and no-go zones. Other features include an edge mowing mode, replaceable blades and automatic docking when rain is detected. The mower will also dock to recharge as needed, with a full recharge taking around 65 minutes. The Dreame Roboticmower A1 is now on sale in EU countries like France, SpainItaly and Germany for €1,999 at Amazon and will shortly be available directly from the company’s online store. The new product is also on sale in the Netherlands at the higher price of €2,231.33. The device is also expected to go on sale in the US this month, priced at $1,999.
